About me
Science and humanity, in the same room
I am a psychologist, a cognitive-behavioural and dialectical behaviour psychotherapist, a psychodiagnostician and a neuropsychologist. I work in mental health, neuroscience and applied behaviour, with experience in clinical, outpatient and hospital settings.
I trained and grew as a clinician in Brazil: I earned a Master’s in Neuroscience and Behaviour at the University of São Paulo, worked as a neuropsychologist at Santa Casa de São Paulo, as a hospital psychologist at Hospital Albert Einstein and as a therapist at the Anxiety Outpatient Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry, Hospital das Clínicas.
In 2017 I founded Narden in São Paulo. Today Narden is a mental health institute with locations in Italy and online care worldwide.
I am also a yoga and acroyoga teacher: I bring attention to the body and movement into my work, because mind and body regulate together.
My clients describe me as informal, direct and empathetic: I believe a good professional can speak everyone’s language, and that a smile can be part of therapy too.

Every person is more than a diagnosis
I use a functional, transdiagnostic approach: instead of stopping at the label, I try to understand what keeps the suffering going for that person, and I choose the interventions with the best scientific evidence for their case.

Master’s in Neuroscience and Behaviour
The best university in Latin America according to Times Higher Education (THE Latin America University Rankings 2025), and the only Latin American university among the world’s 150 most prestigious (THE World Reputation Rankings 2025). Institute of Psychiatry, Hospital das Clínicas – USP
Therapeutic companion at the Anxiety Outpatient Clinic (AMBAN)
Opened in 1952, it is the largest and best-equipped psychiatric centre in Brazil and one of the largest university psychiatric hospitals in Latin America. It is part of Hospital das Clínicas, the largest hospital complex in Latin America: about 2,700 beds and almost 3 million outpatient visits in 2024. AMBAN has treated and researched anxiety disorders since 1985.

Neuropsychologist and specialisation in Neuropsychology
One of Brazil’s oldest hospitals, with over 460 years of history (since 1562), and one of the largest philanthropic hospitals in Latin America. A reference for highly complex care, it has trained doctors since 1963 through its Faculty of Medical Sciences.
A master’s that crosses disciplines
USP’s Neuroscience and Behaviour programme was founded in the early 1990s by an interdisciplinary group of faculty, and students must take courses in different units of the university. Each student builds their own path: mine crossed medicine, biology, physics and philosophy. I studied with Dr Eliane Correa Miotto in the Department of Neurology of the Medical School, with Prof. Fernando César Capovilla in the Neuroscience and Behaviour programme, history and ethics in research with Leandro Karnal, with Pedro Calabrez and, on high abilities and giftedness, with Jean Alessandro.
